Stupid trivia of the day.
Think you have a large hard drive?  Facebook is currently storing 30 petabytes of information and growing.  That's 31,457,280 gigabytes.  There is said to be .8 zettabytes or 800,000 petabytes of digital information on the planet.  That equals 838,860,800,000 gigabytes.  Our families first computer only had 16 kilobytes of memory.  That is 0.00000001490116119384765625 gigabytes.
Update - as of November 2013 Facebook is storing over 300 petabytes of data.
